In a saucepan, add all ingredients and whisk, unheated.

Transfer to stovetop and warm over medium heat, stirring frequently.

Once simmering, turn the heat down to low, continuing to stir for 1-2 minutes until desired consistency. (For a thinner sauce, add a bit of water).

Enjoy immediately, or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
