This recipe doesn’t need much of an introduction, but we’re going to give it one anyway. Our vegan friendly Cinnamon Bun Latte will bring you back to that mall food court where you had your first bite of Cinnabon. The difference? Ours is made with vegan friendly, plant-based ingredients. Did we mention it’s full of caffeine too? Made with Bored Cow Original animal-free dairy milk, a shot of your favorite espresso, and the perfect blend of cinnamon and vanilla extract, this latte is the perfect pick-me-up any time of day.

Ingredients

Latte

1 cup Bored Cow Original

Espresso of choice

Brown Sugar Syrup

1 cup brown coconut sugar

1 cup water

½ tbsp cinnamon

1 tbsp pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prep Ahead: In a small saucepan, combine water and coconut sugar, bringing to a simmer and stirring as the sugar dissolves (2-3 min). Add in cinnamon and vanilla extract and stir until combined (1-2 minutes). Pour into a glass jar and let cool, store in the fridge for up to 1 month.

  2. Brew espresso (your preferred method is fine!)

  3. While espresso is brewing, pour ~2 tbsp of brown sugar cinnamon syrup into mug. Add espresso to the mug once ready.

  4. Warm Bored Cow using a milk steamer, or microwave for 1 min until warm. If heating in the microwave, use a handheld frother to give the animal-free dairy extra creaminess.

  5. Pour in milk and top with extra cinnamon if desired. Enjoy!
