Ingredients

½ cup Bored Cow Original

6 oranges (see prep ahead directions!)

1 can of sweetened condensed coconut milk (7.4 oz)

1 can of unsweetened coconut cream (13.5 oz)

2 tbsp maple syrup or agave

1 tsp vanilla

½ tsp salt

1 tbsp orange zest

Instructions

  1. Prep Ahead: To make the orange cups, cut off the top of 6 large oranges and use a spoon to hollow out the flesh, placing it into a glass container or silicon bag. Place the hollowed orange cups on a plate, freeze all components overnight.

  2. Remove the orange flesh from the freezer and thaw for ~15 minutes (keep the orange cups in your freezer for now!)

  3. In a blender, add Bored Cow, frozen orange flesh, sweetened condensed coconut milk, unsweetened coconut cream, maple syrup, vanilla, salt, and orange zest. Blend all ingredients on high speed until smooth.

  4. Remove the orange cups from the freezer and pour the ice cream mixture into each orange.

  5. Freeze for 3 hours before serving, or freeze overnight for a thicker consistency!
